Dear Viewers:

Hi, my name is Maggie and I have created this website to be like a mirror. I want it to show the real me. I chose the title Maggerella Supersite because my best friend calls me Maggerella when I have troubles, like in Cinderella. Mine are never as drastic, but she still exagerates them to be more dramatic. I chose the template color of rose because I like pink, and my middle name is Rose. I think that I am like a rose, it is pretty, but can still have an effect,(positive or negative). I also try to write how I really feel about the topics I post, and not just invent interesting topics.

I like to play sports, and I have shown that through my username, cheergirl4eagles, and post about soccer. I also like school and friends, both topics I have discussed in various posts. One of the important things in my life that I haven't posted is about church. I love my youth groups, Pointman and MSYF. I have great friends and a better connection with God through these groups and the church camp I went to earlier this summer.

I hope that if you only read one post on this site, that it would be this one.

Day 1: We met new friends and created blogs and created basic websites. There were speakers at supper. My favorite one was Merce'. She talked about art tech. I like art & technology so I found her presentation the most engaging. I also liked the artist portfolio she showed us.
Day 2: We made our imovies. I did a movie on how you use technology in soccer. First we story boarded, then Alissa helped me tape it. After lunch we went to Cosi. We played with bubbles, saw illusions, and walked through the tilted house. We also went on the Boyo, the human yoyo. I went with Alissa, Sarah, Rachel, and Katherine on the simulator and got scared out of my mind. I HATE ROLLER COASTERS!!!!!! After we got back we edited our videos using imovie.
Day 3: We finished our imovies and worked with garage band. All was still, then, bang chaos as we experimented w/ different drum beats. After supper we all relaxed and watched movies.
Day 4: We are writting in our blogs. I am really going to miss camp.

End of Tech camp

I liked camp because I now know how to work w/ garage band, blogging, and imovie in addition to email, and building website.
I loved meeting new friends. I think I got a lot out of camp. Now I don't want to leave. )-,'

Most people that I know say 13 is unlucky. The fear of Friday the 13th is called triskadecaphobia. I actually think Friday the 13th is lucky. I got 2 go 2 state fair on Fri. Aug. 13 last year. I did pretty well. My jerseys are usually #13 also and my teams almost always win. Interesting.

Soccer

I have played soccer since 1st grade. I am usually a midfielder or defense player. Once the Varsity team coached our team! I was a goalie that year. They made us try to catch raw eggs to practice 'soft hands' so that the ball didn't bounce out of our hands. do you play soccer, or have wierd coaches? What was the most interesting practice or game you have had?

the weirdest practice i had was when we played the boys team that was a year older than us. we thought we woold lose really bad, but we almost won!

Nicknames

My nickname is Maggerella is I'm talking 2 Libby, Margaretta if I'm talking 2 Alyssa Zarich, and Mags if I'm talking 2 Rochelle. There nicknames are: Libby- Lib, Beth, Lizzy, & Ellie, Alyssa- Lyss, & Rochelle- Shelly, Shell, & Shell Belle. My sister gets called Sarahcat, &Sarahbear(a). Sarah F.'s user name is almost like Sarahbear, it's Sarbear. Almost every1 I know has a nickname. Write yours!

New Room

my mom is painting my room this week while i'm gone. it is going 2 b lemon yellow w/ a border that is white w/ yellow, purple, orange, hot pink, & lime green rectangles all over & all overlapping! i can't wait 2 get back!

Shell Belle

Yeah! Shell is back! She went on vacation 2 yellow stone & mall of america & mt. rushmore.

Re: lonely

i don't know how i just got really homesick yesterday. and my bff lib is probably going to move 2 NC next summer. If she does, she is dead!

imovie

I want my movie to be more serious not funny, but still engaging. Whatever happens they are not getting me to appear on it!!!! I'm video camera shy. I like the drawing on paper aproach. I also don't have any technology to make a movie on except computers. I don't have a cell phone or ipod or mp3 or laptop. )-:

my tech story

I mainly learned to use technology by teaching myself. The greatest tech advancement I know is interlibrary loaning and online card catalogs.I use e-mail on an almost daily basis. I usually use it for school. I am interested in learning how to do things the real way instead of on my own experimenting.

Camp

I think I want my digital profile to show that ......

I like sports, school, church, and I am a normal 8th grader. I hope I can learn a lot from this camp. So far I only know what I've experimented with about computers and digital technology. Maybe I can teach my mom!
